Over 50 Hatzalah chapters around the world have joined so far to be part of this year’s RaiseThon campaign to raise funds for the life-saving organization.
The campaign has already raised its first million dollars of its $18 million goal, before the campaign launches on Sunday.
United for Protection and Central Hatzalah have announced the 3rd annual Hatzalah-thon, a week-long campaign in support of the Hatzalah organization, will take place beginning on Sunday, May 15th, for 1 week.
Last year’s campaign raised a historic eighteen million dollars, and this year, organizers expect to match that goal.
“This year, we expect close to 60 Hatzalah branches to join the campaign, and we have set our goal at $18 million once again this year,” organizers told COLlive.com.

The “Hatzalah Week” campaign, organized by United for Protection as a week of support and celebration in honor of Hatzalah members around the world, received an outpouring of support from across the globe, as people expressed their appreciation to the volunteers who were on the front lines during the pandemic and have dedicated their lives to helping others in need 24/7.
Over 85,000 Jews from all walks of life donated to the historic campaign to show their appreciation for the unsung heroes in their communities.
