The NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force is investigating an anti-Semitic incident in which a group of black men yelled “Heil Hitler” at a middle-aged Orthodox Jewish man in Crown Heights, Brooklyn on Thursday evening, NYPD officials told JP.
The 59-year-old Lubavitch Hasidic man was walking east bound at 754 Eastern Parkway around 7:00pm, when three black men with a bike approached him, struck him in the foot and one of them yelled “Hail Hitler.”
The three suspects, who are believed to be in their early 20’s, then fled from the scene, police said.
The victim called police and filed a report with the 71st Precinct, who then informed the hate crime’s task force of the incident.
Anyone who may know anything about this crime is urged to call crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
