Are people that frail that some sarcasm is right away translated into a personal quarrel?

From what I know: the man behind C.O.L. is actually friendly or is a friend of these bouchurim [I know them too]. His style of writing can be sharp sometimes – that is true…

What exactly is this heading full of envy about? I fail to see why these bright articulate young men are being laughed at by the author.

There’s plenty of rotten behavior and attitudes in Crown Heights, plenty. Smart, articulate and sensible bochurim
December 4, 2008 4:38 pm

These guys didn’t say anything above their pay-grade, so why the nasty intro by COL?
I do notice that some of the grammer is incorrect, but I’d assume that the Indian writer changed it to fit with their stlye of English.
Does somebody at COL have a personal vendetta with one of these smart, articulate and sensible bochurim?

The heading of this article reads, to me, unnecessarily sarcastic and disrespectful. Is someone at Collive jealous of that these 4 men got a full article from thier interview? “Meet the four experts”, “nevertheless…got a full article,” “As experts on everything and anything” and “even had an opinion about global terrorism” are all, in my opinion, inappropriate words. The article writer and the place it was printed (rediff.com)did NOT head the article as it is done here. 4 young men got interviewed and quoted. In fact there was nothing of what they said that you could poke fun, yet you… Read more »
