Lubavitch businessman Yosef Gutnick of Australia is funding a new effort to explain and clarify the Rebbe‘s Chassidic discourses, making them accessible to the wider public.
The Biurim Bemamarei Rabeinu series adds connection words, commentary on basic ideas in Chassidus and reference notes to Maamarim delivered by the Rebbe throughout the years.
They are based on the explanations of Rabbi Yoel Kahn, Chief Chozer of the Rebbe and known 770 Mashpia, and written by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Ashkenazi of Israel with the help of his brother Rabbi Schneur Zalman Ashkenazi.
The booklets are available to download for free at biurim.022.co.il thanks to the Gutnick Institute in Melbourne which has made the commitment to fund these publications.
A new booklet was just released in connection with Yud Shvat, the day in 1951 when the Rebbe formally assumed leadership of Chabad-Lubavitch and delivered the maamar entitled Basi L’Gani.
This Chassidic discourse and another which the Rebbe said on Yud Shvat 5731 (each year the Rebbe would add variations to the maamar) is explained in a new booklet by the Ashkenazi brothers.
