Hundreds of chassidim came together on Tuesday night for a Gimmel Tammuz Farbrengen in Stamford Hill, London to commemorate the Rebbe’s 23rd Yartzeit.
In attendance were Rabbi Dovid Hager, Rav of Viznitz-Monsey in London and son of the Viznitz-Monsey Rebbe, as well as Rabbi Mordechai Dovid Weiss, Rav and Rosh Kollel of Oraiso in London; Rabbi Mendel Gordon, Mashpia of Yeshiva Gedola Lubavitch; Rabbi Levi Paris, Mashpia in the Yeshiva Ketana and Rabbi Levi Liberow, director of the Ohr Hatorah Chasidus library.
Dayan Levi Yitzchok Raskin, Rov of the Lubavitch community in London, presented the Rebbe’s innovative approach to learning through teaching a Hadran of the Rebbe on Masechet Bava Basra.
Rabbi Shabsi Slavaticki, Shliach of the Rebbe in Antwerp who is known for his powerful oratory and enthralling farbrengens, kept the crowd riveted for over five hours, presenting the Rebbe’s approach to Chinuch as seen through his teachings and example.
This farbrengen was arranged by Yungerleit of the Lubavitch Kollel and was jointly sponsored by many members of the Lubavitch community.
