Shortly after opening its doors to the public, The Market Place was one of the first supermarkets in the United States to offer its customers the convenience of hassle-free online shopping.
Now, 3 years later, kosherfamily.com, The Market Place online shop, which became very popular among kosher consumers, is introducing the new and revolutionary Shop by Recipe feature.
Shoppers can now browse recipes on kosherfamily.com, find a recipe they like, then, by clicking on Shop by Recipe button, they can easily add the recipe ingredients to the shopping cart.
“We are already receiving many very positive feedbacks from consumers,” says Yehuda Vernik, Co-founder and CTO of My Cloud Grocer, the award winning Crown Heights IT start-up which powers kosherfamily.com.
“When we see happy shoppers, it provides the inspiration and encouragement for us to continue improving the online shopping platform and developing new convenience features.”
Busy moms are constantly thinking about what to cook today, looking for fresh ideas is not an easy task, and then getting the products is another complex chore.
“I’m always looking for good recipes,” says Leah D., The Market Place’s loyal customer and a frequent online shopper. “Now, when I find the recipe I like, after few clicks, the ingredients, along with the rest of my groceries are at my doorstep.”
“We are constantly working hard to provide our customers with best product selection and customer service,” says Shloimy Gelbstein, general manager at the supermarket.
“Among new online features is the ability to add personal notes to specific items, for example, to request not too ripe bananas if a customer wants it to last for several days. The new online design with Shop by Recipe will definitely make our customers very happy.”
