Granddaughter Named After Surfside Victim Itty Ainsworth

The Israeli officer who helped who helped find the bodies of Itty and Tzvi Ainsworth in the building collapse in Surfside, Fla., stood by the Torah scroll on Thursday as their newborn granddaughter, daughter of Dovy and Sheva Ainsworth, was named after Itty. Full Story

Very special!
Also very unique that Mrs Ainsworth and her husband met their granddaughter who would be named after her – I wonder if anything is written about that in seforim?
(As a side point – would be very special if there was a picture taken of them meeting their granddaughter on that day….)

What an emotional article! I am in tears!
When my father passed we got up from Shiva & walked straight to a bris of my grandson named after my father!
I guess thats the way Hashem wanted it! We shouldnt be sad…….
