A grand Siyum took place Wednesday evening in Crown Heights, celebrating the completion of Maseches Sota by the daily classes given by Rabbi Shloimy Greenwald.
The Shiurim took place every evening at Bais Gimpel Shul in Crown Heights and streamed live to a worldwide audience on COLlive.com.
The elegant evening at the Jewish Children’s Museum with decor by Chani Greenbaum events and a full course dinner catered by Table One included entertainment by singers Avraham Fried and Eli Marcus.
Divrei Torah were delivered by renowned speakers Rabbi Simon Jacobson, Rabbi Chaim Schapiro, Rabbi Fishel Oster, Rabbi Moshe Gourarie and MC Rabbi Mendel Yusewitz.
The Siyum celebrated the completion by hundreds of people of Maseches Sota between Pesach and Shavuos. Hundreds joined the daily learning, and over 400 signed up for a free Artscroll Gemara.
During the event, the grand raffle was drawn for those who have learned the entire Maseches Sota. The winners are:
