A live farbrengen will be celebrating the 70th anniversary of the leadership of the Rebbe, addressed by influential rabbis and public figures who will be sharing their unique perspective and personal experience with the Rebbe.
The virtual event is being arranged by Rabbi Chaim Levy from Jerusalem and will be taking place on Thursday, January 21, at 2:30 PM Eastern Time (9:30 PM in Israel), streaming live on COLlive.com.
“Unite with thousands across the globe to be re-energized by the Rebbe’s vision and revolution which the Rebbe began 70 years ago,” Rabbi Levy said. “This mission the Rebbe entrusted us beats in our hearts and carries us from darkness to light.”
The headline speaker will be long-time Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who will be speaking about his special interactions with the Rebbe while serving as Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations between 1984 and 1988.
