A message to Anash and Shluchim from the family of Rabbi Yitzy Hurwitz
Rabbi Yitzy Hurwitz, along with his wife Dina , and family have been on Shlichus for 15 years in Temecula, CA, where they built up a beautiful Jewish community.
About a year ago, Rabbi Hurwitz was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease). His ability to function has been strongly challenged.
As of recent months, Yitzy cannot sing and he cannot talk, he cannot dance and he can not walk.
What he can do is love. He can listen, he can smile, he can be there for you. Let’s be there for him!
As of now, he needs Chasdei Hashem – a miracle.
Please help us to create this miracle, by donating JUST $1.80 to the Tzedakah/Charity of your choice in Yitzi’s honor – in honor of Yosef Yitzchok ben Bracha.
Please, do so for everyone in your household.
Our goal is to reach 18,000 people, then we are sure that “Tzedaka saves from harm,” and certainly tzedaka of thousands of Yidden will definitely bring him a refuah shlema.
We know that people want to give, but sometimes they forget, everyone is busy.
Therefore we’re suggesting: Please take upon yourself right now, that from the tzedaka you’ll give in the future, $1.80 should go towards Yitzi’s merit (plus $1.80 for every family member).
In this way, even if you forget later, the money you will give to tzedaka will still be Yitzy’s zechus.
Please go to www.180foryitzi.com and make sure to fill out the amount of times $1.80 was given to Tzdaka.
You could also click to write all the names of people who gave for Yitzi’s honor, which will be mentioned by the Rebbe’s Ohel.
We want to come to the Ohel and tell the Rebbe: “Rebbe, Yitzi is your Shliach. Thousands of people gave tzedaka for him. Please do yours and bring him a refuoh shleimoh Berkorov mamosh.”
