Shared by a Shliach in Florida:
2 Chabad girls from Israel came to us on Shlichus for the year to teach our children.
They were completely shocked from the desolated place. There is no kosher food in town and the closest large Jewish community is 5 hours away in Atlanta or 8 hours in Miami.
They were open enough to tell us that they were really not sure if this was the place they want to spend the entire year.
On the same day that they arrived, they went to a store to buy something. When they received their change, one of the girls looked and saw that the single dollar bill had Hebrew words on it.
Written on the top of the bill was it was given by the Rebbe “to the participants of the Siyum Harambam celebration – second cycle 5746.”
It came as a total shock to her. She always wanted a dollar from the Rebbe and now she got one on her first day on Shlichus. Obviously, they had no doubt anymore whether they should stay here…
