Students from Miss Grossbaum’s 5th grade class in Bais Rivkah raised money for Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin on Thursday, collecting money from local Crown Heights residents.
The girls also held a snack and drink sale outside of 775 Montgomery St. between Albany and Troy to raise extra money for the cause.
“All money will be going towards Shalom Mordechai Rubashkin’s release,” one of the girls said.

I’m one of the girls doing it we raised a’lot bh btw go ester gitty and chana raizel and we are not allowed to do it in school so we can only do it after school
i saw those girls they went to sweet expressions and he gave them a 100$ gift certifecate to sweet expressions and they are raffeling off that and a hwole nother raffle for 3 sfarim its only 5 – 7$ a ticket by one !!!!!
In the Zechus of this we should only hear Besuros Tovos!

Another group of 5th grade Bais Rivkah girls have a lemonade stand on Montgomery between Brooklyn and Kingston. They have been selling fresh cold lemonade and snacks for the past few days> All funds raised are going directly to benefit Rubashkins defense fund. Show your support!
