Sara Esther Rocks!
September 11, 2009 2:46 pm

Baruch HaShem, Aish finally has a Shlucha which they’ve been in dire need of since forever. As to Sara Esther – she, like all Jews, paticularly at this time of year, does not deserve the judgement of others, especially those who likely don’t even know the spectacular woman she is. People, check in and judge yourselves and leave others to do the same for themselves. K’tiva v’chatima tova to all.

should not be invited to kinus hashluchos if she’s working against the rebbe’s mosdos, good, let him go, but why play the game both ways… come dance with the shluchos and then go and work against them and do your own thing?

show me one place he open “a baall shem tov center” where there were shluchim.
also there is a famous sicha where the rebbe says that if removing his name will get it excepted them remove the rebbes name.
but i’m sure that a chasid like Rabbi Ginsburg had more direct inctroduction from the rebbe on the matter, in yechidus and igros.

Show me one letter where the rebbe told him to open baal shemtov centers in areas where shluchim exist.

Re: #16 The Rebbe told him to!!!!
September 7, 2009 5:14 pm

The Rebbe, repeatedly, in letters and yechidus told Rav Ginsburgh NOT to work under Chabad but only to work under his organization, the Gal Einai Institute, which the Rebbe encouraged him to create. He also encouraged all his teachings and chiddushim, which are 100% Torah based. Why don’t you actually do some research before putting a comment that contradicts the Rebbe’s wishes. The Baal Shem Tov center and all of his yeshivas and work are exactly what the Rebbe wanted and demanded of him. The problem with Lubavitch today is that more Lubavitchers don’t learn his teachings. THAT is what… Read more »

A Man for himself
September 7, 2009 4:52 pm

Yes he may base some of his teachings on chabad chassidus but much of it is his own stuff and is not a full fledge lubavitcher. i don’t know why we follow his stuff? he actually tried to establish his own group of centers called “the baal shamtov center”

Rivers to Ocean
September 7, 2009 1:17 pm

He embodies the Rebbe’s selfless devotion to the general klal. For all of you building the brick wall around Lubavitch, get over it. Your self-preservation instincts are at the cost of bitter divisiveness and arrogance. We are all Yidden. That’s the beginning and end point. If we all show some respect and regard for all the other types of Yidden, and try to realize we are all rivers leading to the same Ocean of G-d, then maybe…MOSHIACH will come. Much sooner imyh.

EVERYBODY CAN LEARN FROM RAV GINSBURF

Amazing!
September 6, 2009 11:46 pm

Rabbi Ginsburgh is the greatest Torah teacher alive today. The fact that even Aish recognizes how great he is to have him teach shows that. Every book of his is filled with brilliance. He says more in one sentence than most teachers do in their entire shiur. I hope this time when he speaks in Crown Heights everyone makes the effort to attend. How sad that within Chabad we don’t recognize the greatness that we have. Maybe it will take a packed house at Aish to make us realize what is available to all of us. Can’t wait for his… Read more »

Before you lable people look at yourself. Chabad is not in the business of judging people. By judging Rabbi Ginsburg you are acting Not like a Chabbadnik.

Rav Ginsburgh
September 6, 2009 9:15 pm

Rav Ginsburgh is the true definition of a Chassid of the Rebbe’s. He was given a blanket bracha from the Rebbe that everything he teaches should be published in book form. He is unbelievably learned in all of Chassidus not to mention Torah in general. And he is one of the few if not only true teachers of Torah that is able to rise above the ridiculous machlokes, both within Chabad and outside of Chabad, and reach out and bridge gaps. How amazing that he will be speaking for the Aish community and that they will have an opportunity to… Read more »

Rabbi Ginsburgh was “under the close guidance of several great sages–most notably, the Lubavitcher Rebbe. ” He currently lives in Kfar Chabad.

He is a Lubavitcher
September 6, 2009 8:40 pm

Like R’ Adin Even-Israel, he is a Lubavitcher who does not necessarily teach Chabad Chassidus and therefore has a wide audience. Not my style but he has inspired many to get closer to their Creator so let him be.

Unity?
September 6, 2009 8:19 pm

Doesn’t this say “darsheini?” There is a card-carrying Lubavitch Rav who can bring together Aish and Chabad. Can those who mock do the same? Do you know of anyone else who can really bring Yidden together? Does this not say volumes about where his Torah is coming from?

he is a full fledged Lubavitcher.
his kids are Shluchim.

not chabad?
September 6, 2009 5:47 pm

he has a lot of influence from Chabad and bases a lot of his teachings on Chabad chassidus.

He really, is not, and never was Lubavitch. He is always an entity for himself.
