A new Torah was completed Thursday by the Friedman family, marking the first Yartzeit of their mother and grandmother, Rebbetzin Miriam Tzimmel Friedman OBM.
The celebration began with the writing of the final letters of the Torah at the Friedman home on Montgomery Street.
The Torah was then led with a Tahalucha procession to Chevra Shas Shul on Kingston Avenue, followed by lively Hakofos, song and dance.
Ur parents are smiling from on high!
