Young Israel of Kew Gardens Hills held its annual Chanukah concert featuring Avraham Fried, Eitan Katz, Baruch Levine and 8th Day.
During the concert, Avraham Fried recounted to the audience that after returning from Israel, he was stuck in JFK for Shabbos, but ‘No Jew will be left behind.’
For some New Yorkers this was their first time hearing 8th Day, the popular band featuring the Marcus brothers, who have become known for their mystical lyrics and high energy shows. The crowd cheered as the group joined Fried for his new song ‘Playing With Fire,’ from his upcoming all-English album.

An airport is considered its own Tchum regarding Shabbos and so you are not allowed to leave once Shabbos comes in
