A spectacular tribute evening took place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to honor and give thanks to the Chabad Yeshiva for all of its tireless efforts of supporting and being at the helm of Torah studies in Sao Paulo.
Now in its 17th year, the graduates of the Yeshiva currently hold pulpit positions the world over.
The tribute evening included a concert with Avraham Fried, Yeedle Werdyger and the Freilach Orchestra from NY.
The two singers uplilfted the crowd, singing hit songs from their albums. Fried sang some of his classic hits from the legendary Yossi Green, and the crowd was in such high spirits that a group of
children attempted to burst on to the stage.
Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Shamai Ende spoke of the great impact the Yeshiva has made on the community, impact and continued inspiration for the community at large.
“Sao Paulo was on its feet tonight!” exclaimed Rabbi Mendel Koncepolski, the Executive Director of the Yeshiva. “Such an unbelievable concert doesn’t happen here every day!”
The concert was produced by Yaron Levy of Pearl Productions.
