NCFJE, an educational and humanitarian organization, will be giving out free turkeys in honor of Thanksgiving Day. Distribution of the Empire Kosher Poultry with KAJ kosher supervision will be today (Friday) at 11:30am in front of 824 Eastern Parkway, between Kingston and Albany Avenues in Crown Heights. "First come first serve," Rabbi Shea Hecht notified.

they got some free turkry why they shouldnt give it out? in the meantime some families will have some food.
the question is why empire KAJ and not david elliot CHK? is KAJ better hechsher than CHK today? maybe.

This is the most outrageous thing I have ever heard of!! Mivtza Turkey?? When did the Rebbe start this one?? Nothing better to do with your money?? Start food baskets for people in need, help pay the crazy tuitions that are now demanded from us, help pay for weddings…. the list is endless. But turkeys for a holiday we do not celebrate??? What is going on here??? Have you all gone nuts???
