Chaim Fogelman:
Now that we’ve all had a chance to take a closer look at the lives of our dear shluchim and the whole world got a firsthand look at their mesiras nefesh and devotion, I felt that we should salute and honor them.
We should not have to wait for devastating tragedies to recognize the preciousness of the shluchim. We should not have to experience such heartbreak to awaken us to stand united and do all we can to bring Moshiach.
I hope this song expresses how indebted the world is to our wonderful shluchim. Together, let’s fill the world with Hashem’s light and with goodness and kindness.
I would like to thank Chony Milecki and Benny Hershkowits. A very special thanks to Dovid Weinbaum for his video production skills and for his devotion and driving force behind this entire project.

Thank you for your song ‘dear shluchim’. As always your lyrics are so deeply real and moving. Living in isolation (and no I’m not in an exotic local) can ebb away at one’s self esteem, but words like yours reinvigorate and remind me that we really are on top of the world! Thank you for letting me hear those footsteps getting closer!
Please just continue creating.
Great Song, very moving pictures. May we only hear good news.
Absolutely wonderful and very inspiring, I’ve been to many Chabad centers over the years (including the Mumbai Center), and this song really says it all, the overall quality of the production is on a very high level. KEEP IT UP!!
P.S. I believe that this rabbi who sings it should be a Chabad emissary – Could you imagine just how successful he would be!!

But they are two very difrent kinds of music 8th day is great at what they do each does its own thing very well. I would love to see them do somthing together now that would be somthing
Very well done. A tribute to the mesiras nefesh of shluchim worldwide
great job….
they should get 8th day to record this
I am truly inspired!
Yasher Koach, chaim, you did it again, great words
Devorim hayoitzim Min Halev…
wow the video did make the song in this case this guy is not cheezy but top notch very simple but had some energy which may lead me to beileve
that if ure a fuffiled person and have a luxurious energy even a song that is “simplistic“ if sung right with a good energy becomes sweet instead of “sappy – cheezy“
the words really did it in!!
Welcome to Montreal
I am in tears
Thank you Chaim Fogelman for another classic.
Go Dovid NY will miss you!
inspirational is not hth word
They really potray the message of the song!
