Located in Lake Worth, Florida, where the sunrise is a marvel to behold, CGI Florida promises to continue its tradition of redefining what a Gan Israel Florida overnight experience is all about, making the dreams of campers comes true.
The culture is infused with the spirit of Ahavas Yisroel; it nurtures a warm, chassidic and friendly atmosphere; each camper knows that he counts and is cared for by staff and fellow campers alike.
Facilities are climate-controlled and centrally air condition. Meals – not to mention our legendary salad bars – are catered by our very own Chef Nissan Pewsner. Special attention is given to campers and staff who have special dietary needs.
Bunk and Shabbos competition encourage teamwork and bonding, while giving camp a chance to recognize a bunk (or two) for exceptional behavior and participation.
A hallmark to the camp is their emphasis on the ruchniyus, both curricular and extra-curricular. The Learning Curriculum is creative and geared to stimulate involvement and imagination; many of these lessons are supported by weekly game shows and “hands-on” projects to enhance their knowledge, keeping the learning experience fun and enjoyable.
The Mishnayos Be’al Peh (by heart) program encourages campers to commit portions of Torah and Mishna by heart by creating personal goals. Seforim are ordered from their MBP Seforim Catalogue for the year-end award ceremony.
A customized Tzivos Hashem program encompasses the camper’s daily experience with promotions and awards at our weekly “Tzivos Hashem Hour Rallies”, where campers are addressed by guest Shluchim from around Florida.
Sports leagues bring out athleticism and competitive skills, while a playoff system decides the winners of each session. Campers also have the chance to participate in our low and high element ropes course – the largest in the entire Southern Florida – managed by a seasoned, certified professional.
Themed sets, featuring pictures and information about the Rebbe and Chassidic knowledge are used to convey timeless messages and information, in a fun and exciting manner.
Located in close proximity to South and Central Florida, campers enjoy many outings and field trips throughout the summer.
Exciting events and activities are dispersed throughout the summer, adding to an already exciting schedule: Moshiach day carnivals, bunk and color war competition, interactive game shows, staff plays, visiting day expo, water slides, ach katan and much more.
Registration is in full swing and space is limited. To register or for more info, visit CGIFlorida.com
