Chabad of Flatbush celebrated Purim in style this year with a unique Purim Seudah in the clouds.
Reservations were made in advance and the scores of people who boarded the “Heavenly Clouds Airline” ‘mock plane’ were greeted by friendly flight attendants and lively Purim music by Levi Ginzberg.
The destination was Eretz Yisrael with Moshiach with some exotic stopovers on the way.
The pilot for the evening was Captain Levi Liberow and he skillfully flew the crowd around the world! The flight began with a humorous aircraft safety video, featuring Chief Flight Attendant Eli Voycik.
Shliach Rabbi Zalman Liberow addressed the passengers and delicious international foods, packed and wrapped airplane style, were served along with a choice of soft drinks and beverages.
The in-flight entertainment included an exciting masquerade competition with judge Zalmy Brownstein and a Purim challenge for both children and adults prepared by Crew Member Raizel Liberow.
The smooth landing found us in Eretz Yisrael, celebrating the imminent arrival of Moshiach with lively singing and dancing, led by students of the Yeshiva Tomchei Temimim of Queens.
Coordination of the evening was by Rabbi Chanoch Chaskind.
