I grew up in New York, and I’ve lived here all my life.
For as long as I can remember, Rabbi YY Jacobson was pretty much my only source of Torah.
Sure, I went to Yeshivah, and tried my best, but for some reason the desire to learn and connect with spirituality faded significantly as I got married, and entered the workforce.
During my morning commute, my lunch break, a random WhatsApp message or forward, an article or a video being circulated, I suddenly found my boring and often empty day being filled with so much “toichen”!
Rabbi Jacobson was the first and only Rabbi willing to talk about topics which were previously deemed “off limits”.
He geared his content towards adults, kids, teens, and counsels so many in their various daily struggles.
He truly is “The People’s Rabbi.”
When COVID hit, and the world was relegated to their couches, Rabbi YY identified the need for an increase in spirituality and inspiration, and he and his team worked tirelessly, constantly putting out new and relevant content with messages of hope and inspiration through the darkest of times.
This was a truly dark time for all of us, and I personally was, frankly, not managing.
I don’t know where I would be without Rabbi Jacobson, and looking back, I can truly say my life would not be the same without him!
Rabbi Jacobson truly is a gem, one of a kind Rabbi, and we are lucky and blessed to have him in our lives!
The other day, I saw the notice circulated about his upcoming birthday, and his “hachlatah” to take things to a whole new level.
My first thought was: FINALLY!
A chance to partner with someone truly making a difference in my life, and in the lives of so many!
I am so grateful for everything Rabbi Jacobson does for me and my family, and I consider it an honor to be able to partner with him and his further efforts.
How often in our life do we get the chance to truly make a difference, and see our investment yield a real dividend?
Rabbi Jacobson, thank you for being the voice of good, and perpetuating the message that “No soul be left behind”.
You are a gifted man, and a real life example of channeling one’s G-d-given talents to making the world a better place for all of us!
I invite you all to partner with Rabbi Jacobson in his quest to fill the world with light, love of Torah, and love of each other!
