Either it is, or it is not.
Not every time someone does something to a black is it racism, and not every time someone does something to a Jew is it anti-Semitism

Of all the venues the terrorist could have chosen, he chose a synagogue during a Saturday service. Coincidence. He also made the rabbi call another rabbi, indicating that he targeted a Jewish house of worship intentionally. But “either it is, [sic] or it is not” racist. Sure. True, not every time someone attacks someone is it because of their race. And it’s also true that the terrorist’s primary motive was to have his sister released from prison, not to attack Jews. But the terrorist was still antisemitic for attacking a synagogue. If he were interested in only saving his sister,… Read more »

A Rabbi and three Jews are taken hostage in a synagogue on Shabbos and there is a doubt whether the motive was antisemitic? What kind of world are we living in when we see black and call it white? Has everyone lost their common sense?

Right, so taking hostages in an ostensibly Jewish place of worship on the Jewish Sabbath has nothing to do with Jews.

That's bs

If it is as you say then why is this not happening in churches

What did the fbi know about this terrorist in advance? How much did they know? And how much did they enable him?
Inquiring minds want to know
And sorry CIA we do NOT want your security cameras tracking everything we do in the name of keeping us ‘safe’ from terrorists. You’re our enemy and not the Muslims.
You’re completely exposed

This information just came out.
The terrorists family asks on a sky news interview how was their brother allowed into the states 2 weeks ago when he has an extensive criminal record?
His family is really upset

Did you know that Micheal sussman, Hillary’s high profile lawyer, who was indicted for the Russian hoax Mueller witch-hunt was the same lawyer who represented the black Monsey criminal who attacked yidden in shul with a machete a couple of years back. How did that insane nobody criminal get access to such a high profile lawyer? And the criminal’s mother had called law enforcement a few months back asking for help for her unstable son because she was worried he’d be dangerous. Where was the fbi then?
Smells like some cover up

Of course not
January 16, 2022 11:43 am

Of course it’s not related to the Jewish community, he only targeted the synagogue because he thought it was a church lol.

The government just wants to scare us into begging for their help for our security which they won’t provide but will use to control us more and invade our privacy and autonomy. The govt and media lie about Muslims as much as they lie about us. The vast majority of Muslims here just want to be left alone to live in peace too. Peter santenello did a great job covering some of the Muslim communities. The Pakistani pashtun’s have a lot in common with our community. Felt very familiar. It was odd to see that bc I really didn’t expect… Read more »

I Disagree

if a man went to an MLK rally on MLK day and held 4 black people hostage at gunpoint I might venture to say that the man is racist….
I definitely would NOT unequivocally say hat there is no relation to a hate crime

You're stawmanning bro

The FBI didn’t “unequivocally say that there is no relation to a hate crime.” They said that we don’t know for sure that there is a *direct* relationship.

“And it was not specifically related to the Jewish community”

Either you don’t know what “unequivocally” means, or your struggle with basic reasoning. The commenter wrote, and I quote, “I definitely would NOT unequivocally say hat there is no relation to a hate crime.” But what the FBI said, “it was not specifically related to the Jewish community,” isn’t the same thing as unequivocally saying there’s no relation to a hate crime. According to the FBI’s statement, there could be a relationship, just not *specifically* to the Jewish community. According to the commenter, the FBI said that there is no such relationship, even in an unspecific capacity. Cheers

Again, check out your security protocols at your local Shul/schools.

Don’t wait for C’V another situation–what is your Shul administration doing NOW for security?

The world is so different than it was even 10-15 years ago.

If nobody is armed in your Shul then C’V you are sitting ducks.

what's the difference

Why does it matter whether this person targeted specific humans to accomplish his goal? It’s not as if anti-jewishness doesn’t’ exist. it’s not as if anti-Americanism doesn’t exist. it’s not as if racism doesn’t exist. ETC. Who cares why or whether this individual had a a particular appetite for a particular type of human or theology. He violated the law and paid the consequence. Focusing on his specific derangement will not stop someone else’s different one. We must do what’s reasonably appropriate to protect and secure against all law violaters.

The difference is pretty big

There are two places in the world that Jews are reasonably safe. The U.S. arguably is one of them. For how much longer, I cannot say. That’s why this is important to label it correctly.

Hate Crime

Saying that he chose a synagogue over all the other buildings in Texas – just by chance, is an insult to everyone’s intelligence.

Even the goyim see more clearly than some of the commenters here that this WAS INDEED a crime against the Jews. The FBI as an arm of the (non) Democratic party have long followed the trend of minimizing crime and seeking to pardon certain criminals to the greatest extent possible. Please wake up and smell the coffee.

not just the hateful dems and liberals where trying to destroy our great President Trump and america, the cia and the fbi were in on it. no way with out their help could they steal the election thru the fake elections

His family has issued what sounds to me like a heart-felt asking for forgiveness, and have said this man was mentally ill.

The fbi has some bizarre knack for enabling mentally ill, violent people to roam free and then setting them up to carry out attacks. It’s odd how many times they were tipped off before these people hurt others and did absolutely nothing to stop them. Makes you wonder why?
I mean they were quite competent tracking down the capital rally goers when they wanted to.

Not "directly" against jews but IS "anti semitic"
January 17, 2022 12:37 am

It’s possible what the fbi means by “not directly against jews” is that the motive behind the atack was for another reason then just simply attacking jews.. but ones the atacker needed a “korbon” obviously a jew wouldn’t be a bad idea.. so hey “FBI” don’t just dismiss the “anti semetic” part of the atack it WAS involving “anti semitic” agenda
