Cheder Lubavitch of Morristown last week concluded its year long Avos U’bonim program with a Grand Hakhel event of learning and barbecue followed by activities between fathers and sons.
Special Learning material was prepared in honor of Lag Bomer as father and sons delved into the Rebbe’s sichos for 45 minutes.
Following the learning, everyone was treated to beautiful BBQ prepared by our very own RCA chef Dovid Solomon.
Thank you to Reb Hirsh Eisenberg, a proud parent who volunteered once again to grill and organized a gourmet lunch of hot dogs and burgers.
Talmidim from Kitah Alpeh through Kitah Hei lead the rest of the Cheder with the Yud Beis Pesukim while Rabbi Baruch Hecht shared an inspiring and humorous Chassidishe story.
Concluding the event, fathers and sons were off to exciting activities around the beautiful campus.
A huge thank you to Rabbi Chaim Schapiro for once again leading the Avos U’bonim program throughout the entire year.
