A beautiful event took place this past Wednesday evening, in Montreal when fathers and sons gathered in the auditorium of Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim school for a Farbrengen in honor of Yud Shevat.
The hall was packed and the spirit of a chassidishe farbrengen was felt throughout. It started with a learning session, using a special booklet that was prepared with material about this auspicious day.
After the learning part was concluded, everyone said L’chaim together, and a short video was shown with a lesson about Yud Shevat.
Rabbi Shmuel Vaisfiche spoke about the importance of this farbrengen, as well as thanking the sponsor and the Hanholas Hayeshiva for facilitating this amazing event. In the spirit of Yud Shevat numerous Chassidishe Niggunim were sung accompanied with music by Avremel Zirkind.
The boys were then treated to an amazing animated story by Magic Avi about the Frierdiker Rebbe, followed by ice cream, Pesukim and raffles.
It will surely be an evening to remember, as parents and children walked home inspired and warmed up on this cold winter night.
This and Morristown’s similar event are amazing! Every community should take their example.
Thank You Rabbi Vaisfiche!
