The memory of R’ Boruch Hakohen Eisenberg, an elder Chossid from Nachlas Har Chabad in Israel who passed away on 17 Tammuz 5780, will be memorialized in a new Sefer Torah.
As they stood up from Shiva, family members and friends began writing the first letters in memory of the Chossid who was mekushar to the Rebbe and who was kind to all he met.
He is survived by his children, Yossi Eisenberg (Kfar Chabad, Israel), Chana Dayan (Kiryat Gat, Israel), Rachamim Eisenberg (Kfar Chabad, Israel), Rivkah Holzman (Crown Heights), Shmulik Eisenberg (Rechovot, Israel), Miri Dunin (Kiryat Malachi, Israel), grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Wearing masks, participants wrote letters and said L’chaim in an outdoor tent as a health precaution. Among those present were Kfar Chabad Rabbi Meir Ashkenazi, Kfar Chabad village chairman Rabbi Shimon Rabinovich, R’ Yaakov Minsky and others.
Together, they sang all of the niggunim of the Chabad Rebbes and wished to be reunited with Rabbi Eisenberg at the coming of Moshiach.
