Our community is growing, and Bais Rivkah, the flagship Chabad Lubavitch girls school, is adapting its facilities ahead of the unprecedented enrollment for the upcoming academic year.
Campus Chomesh, located at 470 Lefferts Avenue, has been expanded to include a newly renovated multi-purpose venue. The new space will serve to host extracurricular programming and events. The space was formerly a warehouse located on ENY Ave.
Two brand new preschool classrooms were created in the former “Music Room”.
A new paging and speaker system has been installed in the entire facility.
To strengthen the security of the students studying at the 470 Lefferts location, blast resistant doors have replaced the former standard models at the entrance to the building. A new camera surveillance system is being installed, with cameras being placed in the classrooms in addition to the public areas previously monitored.
Rosa Hall also experienced an upgrade this summer, with freshly repaired and refinished flooring.
The seminary students studying at the 310 Crown street location will enjoy the new sound efficient HVAC systems in their classrooms.
The tent, which has been added to the Crown Street campus recently to provide adequate space for our growing student body, is also being fitted with a new HVAC system.
To improve the safety and beautify the outdoor spaces, the Crown Street yard has been landscaped and the retaining wall and fence have been replaced, and finished with greenery.
These are just some of the many improvements that Bais Rivkah has been working on, to provide the best learning environment for our students.
