Is having a large family chassidish or is it simply Jewish? Why is there such an emphasis on family size in our community?
I love my children, but what if I’m tired/there’s no money/my husband works long hours/I need time for myself?
What do I say when my in-laws, my grandparents, my siblings criticize my family’s growth?
I know that motherhood is a celebration: how can I achieve the balance that’s right for me and find the beauty inherent in this blessing?
Join Mrs. Rivkah Slonim this Wednesday night at Chovevei Torah for a frank discussion of these issues. Ask your own questions at an open panel with Mrs. Sora Morozow and Mrs. Slonim. Explore the source of the mitzvah of Pru U’rvu with Rabbi Shmuel Bluming, moreh tzedek in Crown Heights.
Smoothie bar sponsored by Natural Treats will be open from 8-8:30. Enjoy a buffet of mini sandwiches and wraps sponsored by Bunch O Bagels and mini desserts sponsored by Gombo’s.
The program will begin at 8:30.

Is this event targeting women who might be thinking about not having a large family? Or is it targeting women who already have the large family?
really nice
TBM woman circle is a huge part of my life! thank you so much to the WC!
is not shy to take on tough topics like large families.
thanks for being there for those of us who don’t have the resources or the answers!!
omg this sign was EVERYWHERE!! WE GET IT!! THANKS.
ur events and speakers are always inspiring.no wonder you draw large crowds (200+ every time) gonna come early to get a good seat 🙂
i always find the womens circle events of the beis medrash to be so on target with what we women need to hear, and theres always something fun too and good food and good discussion… even when its a busy night i always make sure to be there cuz if i dont i regret it! looking forward to this one too!!
Every one of their events is so tantalizing from the excellent topics to the speakers to the food. I always leave their events feeling so pampered and inspired!!
You always have your finger on the pulse, preparing just the right events with just the right topics- how did you know?? Looking forward to it!
I agree with you, but it’s not just tuition. It could be a lack or not enough resources. Also, it’s nobodys business besides the couple on how many kids they want.
of course people are having less kids than their parents and pass generations. tuition. tuition. tuition. and untill something is done about that issue, i’m afraid this trend will continue.
Would love to hear this too, by phone, online…
Great job organizing this outstanding event!!!!
I would be such a service to other Chabad women to give them the chance to purchase a recording of this event. Its such a vauable helpful discussion. Who can I contact regarding a recording?
