On Monday evening June 10th – Gimmel Tammuz a crowd of 1500 from the Argentinian Jewish community, local Beis Chabad centers, leaders and dignitaries, gathered at the Sheraton Buenos Aires Hotel and Convention Center, for an evening of inspiration and connection and to pay tribute to the Rebbe and his living legacy.
The evening began with a cocktail reception, with live music by the Etzem Orchestra.
The program included a JEM video presentation of the role of a Nasi Hador and his sensitivity to each individual.
Rabbi Yoel Migdal, director of the ISEJ program for university students, MC’d the evening.
World famous singer Choni Grunblatt accompanied by the Etzem Orchestra uplifted the crowd with heartfelt Nigunim.
Rabbi Osher Farkash, mashpia in the Yeshiva, shared a short thought of the Rebbe’s Torah.
Rabbi Tzvi Grunblatt, Head Shaliach and Director of Jabad Lubavitch Argentina inspired the crowd to strengthen their connection to the Rebbe and described how the Rebbe’s work has expanded since Gimmel Tammuz, with tens of Batei Chabad and schools that have opened in Argentina in the last 19 years.
Every person had a chance to write a pan note to the Rebbe, and take on a Hachlata for Gimmel Tammuz.
A special video presentation produced by ORT Argentina presented the stories of 5 families whose lives have been changed by the work of the Rebbe’s Shluchim, specifically in 5 of the 18 Educational institutions of Chabad Lubavitch Argentina.
Special guest speaker Rabbi Leibel Groner shared some behind the scene moments he experienced as a Mazkir of the Rebbe for over 40 years and many of the miraculous stories he witnessed first hand.
Rabbi Groner inspired the Argentinian Jewish community with his farbrengens on Shabbos prior to Gimmel Tammuz and special visits to Batei Chabad and Moisdois chinuch.
A special publication ‘Consejos de Vida’ a Spanish translation by Rabbi Noson Grunblatt of ‘Advice for Life’ published by Dovid Zaklikowsky of Lubavitch Archives was distributed to all participants. Special thanks to Dovid Zaklikowsky for sharing this treasure.
The event was organized and coordinated by Tzach and sponsored by many of the Batei Chabad and Chabad Lubavitch Argentina directed by Rabbi Tzvi Grunblatt.
