On Sunday, May 22, Pesach Sheni, Baltimore Chabad hosted Chani Apfelbaum of the Busy In Brooklyn blog, under the joint auspices of Aleph Learning Institute directed by Mrs. Rochel Kaplan, and Nshei Chabad.
With over 80 women in attendance, and a room packed to capacity, women of various affiliations joined together for a riveting demo and evening of “Cuisine: The Art of Self Transformation”, delivered by Mrs. Kaplan.
Nshei Chabad prepared a gorgeous table of desserts including individual lace- filled bags of shmura matza for each attendee. A gluten-free macaroon chocolate pie was demonstrated in honor of Pesach sheni.
As expected, the crowd hardly wanted to leave the Busy in Brooklyn cooking show.
