The annual conference of Chabad-Lubavitch educators in the U.S. and Canada will be held this year at the Honors Haven Resort & Spa in Ellenville, a village in upstate New York.
A Project of the Chinuch Office, a division of Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch, the theme this year is “Differentiated Instruction: The key to meeting the needs of all our students.”
As some great ideas fall flat in the classroom reality, this years conference will move away from simply presenting fresh and exciting ideas, to fully developing a dominant theme from concept to practice.
“If past Kinusim presented a smorgasbord of educational ideas, then this year we are presenting a full course meal, from soup to nuts,” Rabbi Nochem Kaplan, organizer and Director of the Chinuch Office, said.
Women educators will convene on Mon.-Tues. 21- 22 Tammuz, July 13 – 14. The men on Tues. -Wed. 14-15 Menachem Av, Aug. 4-5.
Participants will be addressed by a team of experts: Dr. David Jacobson, Rabbi Yoseph Rosenblum, Mrs. Devorah Kreiman, Dr. Wilma DeMelendez, Dr. Rochelle Green and a panel of classroom practitioners.
