A drama camp from Bais Rivka Day Camp in Crown Heights will be giving teen girls the opportunity to perform in a professional film.
A showing of last year’s film will be held at Bais Rivka Lefferts, March 27 at 7:00pm. Open to mothers and daughters of 6-8 grades. Sisters are welcome as well. Admission is free for all.
Bais Rivka Day Camp’s pioneer program, now in its second year, will once again be holding a teen program this summer.
As was the case in its previous year, sixth and seventh graders will have the opportunity to perform in a professional film that will be produced at the end of the summer.
The film will be directed by Leah Gottfried, who has previously run drama camps for many years with Robin Garbose, a film producer internationally acclaimed for the feature films; A Light for Greytowers, The Heart that Sings and Operation: Candlelight.
Attesting to the success of the program’s first year, a showing of the previous year’s film production will be held at Beis Rivka Lefferts on the 27 of March at 7:00 pm.
In addition to the film, campers will also participate in various clubs and will enjoy both exciting and stimulating trips.
Campers will also benefit from Farbrengens, late nights and Shabbatons that will complement the day program.
BRDC are also pleased to announce that they will be joined this year by Miri Loschak who will be bringing her experience to serve as the new director for this year’s pioneer program.
The program will take place from July 5th through August 19th.
