Donor Yerachmeal Jacobson, who pledged a large donation during last year’s Hatzalah-thon event, has come through for the life-saving organization.
Jacobson has fulfilled his generous $30K pledge this week, as plans for the second Hatzalah-thon fundraising event are in full gear.
During the last Hatzalah-thon, Jacobson and his wife Rivka Leah pledged to sponsor the Torah crown for the second Unity Torah, which will be completed at this year’s live event.
“We are so grateful to Yerachmeal, and everyone who donated during the live Hatzalah-thon, in support of Hatzalah in their life-saving services for the community,” said Hatzalah-thon organizers Shloime Greenwald, Beryl Junik and Zalmy Cohen.”We wish him many blessings for good health and success in his work and support of many causes.”
The second annual Hatzalah-Thon event will take place on Lag B’Omer, culminating the writing of the second Unity Torah begun during the COVID pandemic.
The celebration will be part of a week of support for Hatzalah, which will include the grand Siyum event. Click here to donate now.
The Torah completion ceremony will take place on April 29, 2021 – Lag B’Omer and will stream live on UnitedforProtection.com and on COLlive.com.
