The Chaya Mushka Seminary in Montreal recently hosted its annual Scotch and Cigar Event.
Supporters gathered on the front lawn of the Seminary to toast a l’chaim with one another and savor delicious cocktails prepared by Simonne Toledano Catering.
“The event brought together community members from all walks of life, who got a glimpse into the activities and programs our students accomplish in the city,” remarked Rabbi Avraham Cohen, Director of the Seminary.
The funds raised at this year’s Scotch and Cigar event were earmarked for a special trip to Eretz Yisrael, which the Seminary is organizing for some of its talmidos, this school year 5775. The supporters were very excited and enthusiastic to be part of the Seminary visit to the Holy Land and were eager to participate in this meaningful project. Baruch Hashem the event was a sensational success.
Rabbi Michoel Dahan, Dean of the Seminary, expressed that the students attend an excellent teacher training program in a chassidishe and warm environment. The trip to Israel will enhance their studies at the Seminary.
The invitees all expressed that they were proud to support a centre of higher learning that will produce the future teachers and educators for Jewish communities worldwide.
