Yingy, thank you for arranging a plastic surgeon to meet me at the hospital when my daughter fell and cut her head. When we got to the hospital, the doctor was there waiting for us and brought us in, past the waiting room and lines. We were out in less than an hour. It was unreal!

All I can say is that we are very lucky to have these dedicated people amongst us in our community. thank you, naftali berkowitz.

i was once sitting in 770 and someone went over to thank him for a call and said i want to send your wife somthing for you not being home and his reply was PLEASE dont send me anything because it will look like all the other of hundreds of people who dont thank and send things are selfish and not caring, the point i took was we never need to go out of our way to thank in a big fashion and or letter in fact it can have a negative effect, after all you think the author of… Read more »

My wife and I were driving together down sterling street and Franklin ave,I looked at the light at the beginning of the block and never looked again. When I got to the intersection I caused a 5 car accident. Every black guy that lives in those apartment buildings came running out screaming at us. My wife in her quick thinking called hatzaloh and it explained that we were being surrounded by peopl screaming at us, she said to the dispatcher to please send help quickly and to get us out of there. Within 2 minutes superman YINGY was there and… Read more »

Nothing can top this !!! My mom was in lenox hill and I needed to move her to another hospital they were killing her it was the worst team of doctors! To move to another hospital was against medical advice. every dr. said you can’t move her. no one would sign the release! I called super yingy he came with a group of hatozala members with a stretcher and waited in front of the nursing station screaming transport. the nurses were so scared of yingy that in no time at all they found the right person to release her and… Read more »

A family Friend who knows what Yingys life is like!!!
March 1, 2012 9:51 pm

Beside for what Yingy does in Hatzalah in our community-it is important to mention what he does for people concerning other major issues. There is no one, except for Yingy in this community-for couples who are going through terrible situations to turn to. It is important for people to recognize what Yingy does and appreciate his time, money, care and devotion that he gives . Yingy doesnt get paid for being on the phone at all hours of the day and night, giving advice to couples and making the appropriate arrangements for situations that are dire. The list goes on…..May… Read more »

Not even all these wonderful praises is even enough to describe the man that Yingy the tzadek is. He is absolutely awesome

Praise now!
March 1, 2012 2:10 pm

It’s so nice to see a web site that praises people for their actions now in their life and not have to G-d forbid wait at the end of life to hear the amazing things that many in the community do. keep sharing nice words about others, and yes while they are alive to hear it!!

Thank you Hatzolah!
March 1, 2012 1:56 pm

I think this is a good opportunity to thank not only Yingy for his amazing care and work, but all the many devoted Hatzolah members, both in Crown Heights, and New York in general.
Thank you! and may we have no more need for you – very soon!

yes it is nice to hear this story. but the exact same scene with yingi repeats itself day in and day out. for the last 40 years. in hatzalh and in other areas of chesed. being a private person we all dont hear the hundreds if not thousands of personal stories where yingi helped beyond the call of duty. and we were to start wring them all this website wont have enough space. but we cant forget the over 2 years of his life he gave to the rebbe after chuf zayin adar. and we cant forget the millions he… Read more »

I don’t know if the members of CH are aware of the fact that Yingy started CH Hatzola with his father at the age of 17. He has never put himself before the people of the community and has selflessky served us all since then. I had an emergency delivery and he was there among many other emergencies. This past year during the Tornado in CH not many know that Yingy sat all night in the ambulance just in case someone would need him and if the storm would be bad he wouldn’t be able to get there fast enough!… Read more »

Proud 2 know him
March 1, 2012 1:31 am

There are no words that one could say that would be sufficient to describe the man that YINGY is. To say the words KIND, COMPASSIONATE, CARING,GENTLE, THOUGHTFUL, UNDERSTANDING,PATIENT,DEVOTED, are not even enough. He is a malach for the crown heights community and to all those that are fortunate to know him. Hashem should bless you Yingy with Hakol-Bakol-Mekol more .

I know that my daughter is alive thanks to the shluchim of hashem “hatzalah” on a different occasion one of my children was really sick and we spent some time in the hospital. YINGY came over and brought me food, would call every day and asked me what i needed, it was summertime and friends and family were away but i had yingy to take care of me while i was taking… Read more »
