However, why only to Kodesh teachers, and male teachers?
English teachers and female teachers are part of the chinuch as well.
Please change the title to REBBIS not teachers! The girls schools (I know specifically of Bais rivka) teacher staff was not included.
Chasdei lev policy is that they only give to rebbees
Do they give to Rebbis who teach only a few hours?
Asking to know…
They also give to morahs who are the main breadwinners of the family
But only Kodesh teachers
Title is misleading. It wasn’t “gifts”. It was heavily discounted items which Rebbis paid for with their hard-earned money.
Everyone spends hard earned money… at least this was heavily discounted instead of heavily inflated at local groceries
This is a sore point for us female teachers. We are also providing for our families. We are working really hard to provide a solid chinuch to our students while raising our families. Why is a Rebbi given priority over a female teacher?
As the poster above said, please change it to Rebbis. The title is not accurate.
Yes they are the main provider…women teachers are great but bh your husband is making an extra salary as well so don’t always bash when the rabbi gets and not the women…yes they are the main breadwinner!you women are getting a other salary from your husband’s they a lot of them are doing very well!!!
It was much cheaper than usual (because it was subsidized by the schools and Chasdei Lev) – but NOT a gift at all. It costed money. TY
What about the bus driver’s for the yeshivas/cheders/schools ???
