While learning about “Community Helpers,” students of Bais Rivkah Head Start in Crown Heights were visited by Police Officers of the 71st Precinct on Tuesday.
To make the lessons more fun and hands on, teachers Rivkah Leah Shmueli, Rosie Markowitz, Chaya Sara Zweibel, Leah Karasik, and Mushka Slava Gurevitch invited Detective Vinny Martinos to come down to school to interact with the students and teach them about safety.
The officer brought with him officer Richie disguised as a “crime dog,” which the girls enjoyed very much.
