What is the mortality rate?
May 7, 2020 5:04 am

There are many debates in the outside world between those who want to open the economy and those who are more cautious.
Mortality rate is probably the most important factor that is still not fully understood.

Some say it’s like the flu with a mortality rate of 0.1%.

Others say it’s much worse with a mortality rate of 1%.

I wonder if this survey can answer this question and thus help governments etc decide policy with an answer to this question.

Uly therapy center !!! Wow

Let’s stick to what’s necessary for the time being

Idea

I’m sure the majority of people who filled out the survey is for adults. How about making a separate survey for parents to fill out for their kids (1 per family), with questions like:
1. How many Children do you have?
2. How many got sick?
3. How many were tested for antibodies? Etc.

This will help ascertain the status of our kids. Perhaps this will help with schooling and camps etc.

There are no words to thank you

Sending tears of love and support!

Tested for antibodies?
May 7, 2020 9:37 am

You write that “the majority of our community has tested for antibodies”.
What are you basing this on?
Dr. Rosen’s office will test only if you are his patient. (Not everyone in this community is.)
So is this based on the majority of Dr. Rosen’s patients?

Dr. Plaut

Plaut’s office did testing, even for non patients

It says the majority have NOT been tested for antibodies. This is based on asking all respondents whether they have been tested, and the majority answering no. There is built in bias with respect to survey respondents and that is being addressed.

You should read that paragraph beginning “From a preliminary assessment…” again. He wrote ” The majority of our community have NOT been tested for antibodies”(emphasis and capitalization of NOT is mine).

What about the kids?
May 7, 2020 10:28 am

Amazing, and thank you!
We’ve been told that the children could be carriers and are dangerous to the grandparents. Yet we are not testing the children, so what’s the plan?
And what would you say about the new reports of children being stricken with Kawasaki and related disease? How do we avoid this

This is something new that need to be addressed as well. We all have kids and Kawasaki is dangerous
