A group of special needs and elderly residents gathered in a Crown Heights home last week for an evening of entertainment.
The event opened with a performance by the hilarious comedian Modi, who had the crowd rolling in laughter.
The crowd then enjoyed a performance by violinists Yonasan Rothman and Yitzchok Hurwitz along with cellist Marcel, who played enchanting melodies.
They also enjoyed a performance by one man band Choni Teitelbaum and singer Shmuly Goldman.
The highlight was a performance by singer Yehuda Green.
“Yehuda Green had the crowd mesmerized with his heartzig music, that went straight to the soul,” said Mrs. Devorah Scheiner, who organized the event. “The joy was in the air was tangible.”
Mrs. Scheiner thanked Yumi and Zeldy Klein for hosting the event, and for their support of the organization all year round.
Nice that you sang Shmuly! Sure everyone enjoyed!
Mrs Scheiner put this together beautifully.
We are so proud of you:)
