Looking for a dedicated Receptionist to handle clients-facing crisis with care, as well as general office management tasks. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
Location: New York, NY
Hours: Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm, Friday 9am - 1pm
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer main phone and direct calls appropriately
- Check general voicemail and notify specific recipients first thing in the morning and throughout the day
- Meet and greet clients and visitors
- Ensure conference rooms and reception area remain presentable
- Setup and coordinate meetings and calls
- Order food/set up and clean-up for team lunches
- Receive and distribute daily mail, deliveries and couriers
- Arrange messenger pick-ups/FedEx shipments
- Perform general administrative duties including but not limited to: data entry, light drafting and/or research, photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing
- Compile kitchen/office supplies list and give to office manager
- Provide general office support and assist with events and/or special projects as needed
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but high school diploma accepted with some college or equivalent experience
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing documents
Solid organization skills and highly detail oriented --great attention to detail a must
Ability to create organized filing system
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone manner
Experience with Word, Excel, QuickBooks, Salesforce or willingness to learn
Overachieving attitude and enhanced work ethic
