As I write this with tears and a heavy heart, I have to believe there is a way to get through this.

People always speak about the joys of your first year of marriage despite the new challenges you may face. However, my wife and I were definitely not ready for the challenges that were yet to come. A few years ago, two months after starting our beautiful life together my wife became extremely ill. One morning she woke up and everything she began to eat felt like a poison to her body with horrible effects. She was just beginning her graduate program and instead of focusing on her schooling and marriage she needed to run to multiple doctors for treatment. She was sick to the point that only 5 very specific plain foods would allow her to go through her day without agonizing debilitating pain. She was underweight to begin with and managed to lose over 20 lbs within the first year. We have been to multiple traditional doctors/specialists, energy/spiritual healers, nutritionists, holistic doctors, eastern medicine practitioners, etc. Somehow with every treatment she would undergo, she became even sicker with worsening symptoms.

I have been her rock throughout this whole nightmare, supporting her in every aspect. Unfortunately, right when she finally learned to accept and live with her condition, she had undergone a near death experience which turned things for the worse. She is now left in a debilitating, bed-ridden state and suffers from daily pains which cripple her to the floor. I am terrified to leave her side, fearing something would happen to her and I was forced to quit my job to care for her fulltime. This has left us in desperate need of financial assistance with numerous medical and basic living expenses.

I am still in hopes of finding someone to help heal her. We are continuing to search for doctors/healers, however, costs are more than we can bear. Please help us on our painful journey in finding a cure for her condition
