Job Description

A New York City-based Real Estate development and management company is looking for an Executive Assistant to support their Chief Operating Officer. The ideal candidate will be an expert communicator, tech-savvy, and a self-starter who takes the initiative in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in Real Estate is a significant plus, but not required.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Answer incoming telephone calls; determine the nature of the request and direct caller to appropriate personnel and/or department.
Manages and maintains the COO schedule, makes and adjusts appointments, schedules dinners, and tracks expenses.
Composes and prepares correspondence, memos, presentations, organizes/maintains files, arranges reports for projects, schedules meetings, provides direction and follow up of assignments
Anticipates needs and takes self-directed actions.
Provide special project leadership and support as needed.
Conduct preliminary research on a variety of topics; draft materials as needed
Track COO’s tasks and projects to ensure appropriate prioritization of projects concerning deadlines and organizational developments
Some work is necessary to be conducted after hours or on weekends.
Ensuring the smooth operation of the office and administrative functions of the agency, including elements of human resources, accounting, billing, and systems support
Perform any other relevant duties as assigned

Salary: $45,000 to $60,000.00 /year
