As in previous years, Yeshivas Lubavitch of Cincinnati, under the directorship of Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Gershon Avtzon, will be running a Yeshivas Kayitz for its Mesivta bochurim from Shiurim Alef and Beis, where the Talmidim can continue growing in their Chassdishkeit, Yiras Shomayim and Limud HaTorah while enjoying an exciting atmosphere with outings and special activities.
This year’s Yeshivas Kayitz will take place in Buffalo, NY, beginning on Tuesday, 6 Tammuz (July 12) and ending on Monday 18 Av (August 22).
Following the tremendous success of last summer in Napierville, the program will once again be directed by Shmuel Granovetter (Menahel Ruchni) and Mordechai Kaplan (Menahel Gashmi), together with a group of devoted staff members coming solely to give the bochurim a fun Chassidishe time. The program will feature a daily schedule of davening and learning as well as sports and outdoor activities. There will also be weekly trips and other exciting outings to help the bochurim get refreshed and ready for the next Yeshiva year.
Two experienced Maggidei Shiurim, Rabbi Levi Karp from Montreal who will be joining for a second consecutive year, and Rabbi Mendel Meyers from Buffalo, will be running the learning program of the Yeshivas Kayitz. They will be teaching Chassidus and Gemara, placing a special focus on choosing interesting and practical material to help the bochurim “live the learning.”
The Yeshivas Kayitz will also be putting a strong emphasis on “out-of-Seder” programs, such as a Mivtza of Chassidishe Hanhagos, Mivtzah Torah, hands-on learning experiences, and Farbrengens led by local Mashpi’im and Shluchim.
If your son isn’t currently attending Yeshivas Lubavitch Cincinnati but would like to enjoy the Yeshivas Kayitz experience, please contact the Menahel of the Yeshiva Rabbi Benarousse, at [email protected] by Rosh Chodesh Sivan (June 7). There are only a few spots available, and registration will work on a first come – first serve basis
