Crown Heights Young Entrepreneurs (CHYE) will be holding their annual Founder’s Circle gala event on Tuesday, February 25th at 7 pm in the Deloitte offices at 30 Rockefeller Center in New York City. This year, they will be bestowing honors on Crown Heights businesses who have been positively impacting the community.
If rubbing shoulders with the biggest movers and shakers in the Crown Heights business community while enjoying a lavish buffet and hearing from some of the greatest minds in the business world today, sounds like your ideal way to spend a Tuesday night, then this is an event not to miss.
The event will kick off at 7 pm with a gourmet buffet by Boeuf & Bun replete with an open bar, carving stations, and other delicious kosher delicacies. At 8 pm, guests will enjoy hearing business wisdom Norm Brodsky, a veteran entrepreneur who will be sharing expertise from his over 40 years of starting and growing businesses, including an Inc. 5000 (Perfect Courier) and selling his company for $110 million in 2007.
Following the talk guest will enjoy an awards presentation honoring business that are making a difference in Crown Heights. “It’s always been CHYE’s mission to inspire and foster a spirit of entrepreneurship and a can-do attitude in our community,” said CHYE founder, Rabbi Yehoshua Werde.
“In that spirit, it is my privilege to acknowledge two amazing businesses grown right in our own community. The CHYE Business of the year is Buggy LLC, and its CEO, Menachem Light, for their incredible growth and their impact on the Crown Heights Community. The CHYE Startup of the Year, will go to Etico Parking which has experienced enormous growth since its founding less than a year ago, and its founder/CEO, Levi Sudak.
Also being honored is the CHYE Supporter of the Year, Madison Commercial Real Estate, and its CEO, Sruly Rosenbaum.
The event will conclude with networking over delicious desserts from 9-10 pm.
