Every Sunday evening between 8 and 9 pm, members of the Manchester local community come to Kollel Chassidus in Beis Menachem to learn Chassidus together.
This Sunday being Erev Chof Av, a special program was held in honor of the Yahrtzeit of Rabbi Levi Yitzchok Schneerson, the Rebbe’s father.
R’ Levik’s works were studied as explained by the Rebbe, some learning B’Chavrusa and others by joining a shiur given by Rabbi Mendel Cohen.
The learning was followed by a video of a Sicha of the Rebbe about his father’s mesiras nefesh.
The program concluded with a farbrengen until late with Rabbi Yossi Chazan.

I am sure the Rebbe’s brochas help manchester a lot, but Zalman Jafee passed away many years ago, and Avraham Jafee is for many years already only involved in his Shul Kahal Chassidim
zalmon Jaffe and his son Avrohom Jaffe together with the Rebbe are responsible for the real success of Manchester.
Mottle Wechter is not worth mentioning, and if anyone has their info wrong its you. I am focusing on those who actually contributed to the foundation and growth of above mentioned Mosdos, not those that threw some money or got involved here and there in various positive and negative ways. i was in a place recently where every where you turn there is another break-away minyan!- you would never find that there!.
unlike other places manchester offers an AMAZING chassidishe chinnuch!
manchester’s really changed since i was there-
look… every other day there are programmes…. there is such achdus in the community- its not like one of these towns where everyone falls out with each other.
