As if the Talmidim at the Cheder at the Ohel weren’t having enough fun with their new Chayolei Tzivos Hashem program, a rewards system for doing good deeds – when they arrived to Cheder today, they discovered that there was even more excitement in store.
Students need no longer wait outside principal Rabbi Cohen’s office to manually update their stats, ranking and miles earned to their account.
The Cheder at the Ohel is one of the first yeshivahs to have a special computer kiosk accessible for all students to manage their own accounts. Students scan their cards to view miles they have earned, add new missions accomplished and more, all via touch screen.
One student was overheard saying, “I can’t wait to tell my father that I don’t need his credit card anymore, ’cause they have a cool scanner at the Cheder.”
Special thanks to Rabbi Cohen for expediting the process, Maryashe Deren for her assistance, and to Tzivos Hashem and Merkos for the phenomenal program.
The web programmer who made it possible is Ariel Shkedi, from the Chabad community in Pittsburgh.
Yes, way to go to the one who does all the programming behind it all…..
to the computer programmer who is the one who makes it happen who gets emergency phone calls and drops everythign to fix it- you are the best. col- why don’t you mention him?
Special mention to the computer programmer who programmed this whole thing!!! You are the best oldest brother!
