Chanukah in ‘Candy Land’

The Friendship Circle of Crown Heights celebrated with a grand ‘Chanukah in Candy Land’ Chanukah party at the Jewish Children’s Museum.

Kids with special needs and their families and friends enjoyed food, holiday crafts and activities.

A 6 foot high candy Menorah, filled with Jelly Belly jellybeans, was lit by Yehudah Reichman.

MC Yossi Majerczyk then introduced popular kids’ entertainer Uncle Moshe, who got the kids singing and dancing.

Each child recieved a gift from the Friendship Circle Toy Drive, in memory of Alta Shula Swerdlov, OBM. The succesful toy campaign has grown to the opening of a new toy library at the Jewish Children’s Museum.

Following the event, Uncle Moishy donated a collection of his CD’s and videos to the Alta Shula Library.
