Chabad Friend Needs Votes

A friend of a Chabad House in the state of New York has been nominated for a large grant for his hardware store.

Beacon Paint and Hardware in the Upper West Side of Manhattan is currently in third place to win $100,000 from the “Shine a Light” contest by American Express and NBC Universal.

Its owner is Bruce Stark, an active member and one of the supporters of Chabad of Port Washington in Long Island.

“Bruce and Steve Stark have been staunch supporters of our Chabad House for ten years,” Shliach Rabbi Shalom M. Paltiel told COLlive.

“The word ‘no’ does not exist in their vocabulary when it comes to helping Chabad.”

Paltiel asked COLlive readers to take 5 minutes and vote for Beacon Paint and Hardware, as the deadline is just 3 days away.

“Please help our Chabad House by voting,” he pleaded.
