Chabad Early Childhood, the international network serving Chabad preschools on Shlichus, invites all Shluchos to a preschool empowerment luncheon taking place virtually and in person during the Kinus Hashluchos.
The annual luncheon held at the Shluchim Office is a highlight for Shluchos who are involved in preschools, a unique opportunity to focus on the role, skills and growth of preschool directors and staff.
“This year’s luncheon is particularly meaningful being that it’s the first time in two years that we will be getting together in person, to network and gain Chizuk to bring back to our preschools,” shared Mrs. Rivky Baitelman, project manager. “New challenges and hurdles arose with the pandemic and continue to affect preschools globally. We see and cater to these needs and look forward to welcoming Shluchos, and treating them to a beautiful program that’ll leave them feeling inspired and rejuvenated!”
Parsha Pegs designer Mrs. Chana Feldman will be giving a workshop on how to create wooden people for classrooms or programs, which give children the opportunity to imagine and explore in their own creative way. Dr. Tamar Andrews will be presenting an up-and-coming theory in early childhood called “Making Thinking Visible”, covering how to implement this new technique in leadership and classroom learning that will bring about open communication and build trust.
“The concept of ‘Making Thinking Visible’ is so important as it helps children learn to think, question, plan and engage in their own learning,” said Mrs. Devora Krasnianski, founding director. “We’re so excited that we will be learning more about this education model from Dr. Tamar Andrews, a world-renowned early childhood expert.”
The event will be taking place on Sunday, January 23 / 21 Shevat beginning at 12PM. Shluchos can pre-register at shluchim.org/cecprogram.
