The Chabad Preschool at Beekman Place and Chabad at Beekman-Sutton, part of the growing Chabad of Midtown network in Manhattan, recently celebrated a second annual benefit evening.
Thanks to the generosity of devoted preschool parents, the dinner was held at the famed Oak Room in Manhattan’s legendary Plaza Hotel.
The program included a silent auction for valuable and unique gifts, an elegant dinner and an original video presentation.
Close to 200 supporters, friends and preschool parents paid tribute to the school and the warmth, care and loving Jewish atmosphere it provides for families in East Midtown, Manhattan.
Manhattan’s fifth Chabad preschool, now in its second year, The Chabad Preschool at Beekman Place follows in the tradition of excellence created by long-standing Chabad preschools in the city and has become a sought-after school in the neighborhood. Themed “Our Children, Our Stars”, the dinner highlighted the value of Jewish education and paid tribute to parents and friends who have made it possible in East Midtown.
Dinner guests were addressed by Rabbi Shmuly and Raizy Metzger, directors of Chabad at Beekman-Sutton and the preschool; Rabbi Yehoshua Metzger, director of Chabad of Midtown; honorees and friends.
