Crown Heights Young Entrepreneurs has announced that it will be hosting its first ever women-only business event in Crown Heights.
This evening of business guidance, practical ideas and networking is ideal for the female business owner, career-minded woman, or the woman looking to enter the world of business.
The event will feature a panel of three Lubavitch women who own successful businesses in Crown Heights. The three entrepreneurs will provide the audience with insight and guidance into the intricacies and complexities of the business world.
The panel will include Mrs. Aliza Blizinsky, owner of Judaica Creations, a company that sells hand-crafted and personally-embroidered Judaica supplies and gifts, Mrs. Linda Gutleizer, owner of Apple Drugs, a popular Crown Heights pharmacy and health food store and Mrs. Chaya Abelsky, owner of Triumphant Journeys, a coaching practice and coach-training program.
Throughout the event participants will discover how these successful entrepreneurs realized their dreams, and what they learned – for better or for worse – along the way.
Come and take advantage of this unprecedented opportunity. The event will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, at the CHYE Center, located at 510 Empire Boulevard.
A light dinner of soups, wraps and salads will be served.
The nominal entrance fee of $10 can be paid in advance or at the door. Due to the limited space available, participants are strongly encouraged to reserve a seat in advance by registering online.
For more information or to reserve a seat, please visit CHYE.info/events-2/ladies-roundtable, or call 718-874-0100 Ext. 2.
This event is a project of Rabbi Yehoshua Werde, Founder and Director of CHYE.
Kol hakavod to Rabbi Werde for helping promote Yiddisheh parnasah–“momonom shel Yisroel”–in a kosher, community-based way!
Thank you for this and lets hope you will do more of these as this is much needed to give woman options and explore educational opportunities to enhance woman’s potential and to discuss the delicate balance between family and work.
Thank Hashem, I got my bacholors years ago, got marriend, worked part time, left work, raised my children and went back to work so that I could pay their tuition. We are living in the two parent income generation unless you are blessed that your husband is in a strong business, a doctor, lawyer or has an inheritance. My husband got a pay cut and BH hashem helped that I got a raise and bonus. We barely make ends meet with that. So future wives, look for a career that you can begin and go back to and enjoy as… Read more »
I hope these women will be honest and speak on the impact being a working mother has on their families!
Make sure you have an honest cleaning lady EVERYDAY of the week and a kind helpful HUSBAND who works as well and shares HOME and CHILDREN chores too!!!!
as long as a mother is there in the morning and in the afternoon when kids come home she can work imbetween
I personaly know two of the 3 speakers and they both work hard and still are there for their children. they both have large families and work hard, yet are home to see their kids off in the morning and welcome them home for school. they are amazing mothers as are many of the working mothers today.
Dear # 3′
Don’t forget, there is still life before marriage (especially when someone is 21++), and after you stay at home and the last one goes to school, the tuition committee will ask you “when are you going back to work, so that you can pay more tuition?”
the most important entrepeneur any woman can be is being a mother for her children and being there to send them off to school and greet them in the with warm smile , even when your kids can stay home alone
Been there done it and not so glamorous , if you have a family larger than 3-4 kids be there , have less luxury and more quality , even if you dont own a home. In the long run only your kids matter.
this looks really cool. will be there!
great idea!!!!
